Title: Budget Work Session

The Tuckahoe School Board of Trustees Chairman Sean Hattrick convened the Board Work Session and Budget Work Session at 7:30 p.m.

The following Board members and District officials were present:
Sean Hattrick, Chairman
Robert E. Grisnik, Trustee

Leonard Skuggevik, Superintendent
Carl Fraser, Interim School Business Official
Katelyn Fretto, District Treasurer

III. Resolutions

Approve:  Motion made by Sean Hattrick, seconded by Robert E. Grisnik and unanimously carried; BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Board of Trustees hereby approves the following resolutions numbered 1 and 2. 

1. WHEREAS, a proposal was received from Seneca Consulting Group to perform mandatory IRS 1095 reporting for the Tuckahoe Common School District based on supplied data in the required format; and, WHEREAS, the cost for said service is $4.50 per employee and $1.25 postage and handling per employee and $285.00 per hour for consulting services as/if needed, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board, that Tuckahoe CSD contractually authorizes Seneca Consulting Group to perform said services commencing in the school year of 2017/2018.

2. RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees approves the following field trip requests of the Music Department for students to attend SCMEA (Suffolk County Music Educators Association) at the Mt. Sinai High School and Mattituck-Cutchogue High School on March 3, 3018 from 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., March 9, 2018 from 1:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and March 10, 2018 from 7:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at approximate cost to the district of $2,303.47.

IV. Executive Session

At 8:40 p.m., Sean Hattrick made a motion to enter into Executive Session to discuss Personnel & Contractual Matters, seconded by Robert E. Grisnik and unanimously carried.

At 9:03 p.m., the Board came out of Executive Session.

At 9:04 p.m., Sean Hattrick made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Robert E. Grisnik, and unanimously carried.
