The Board of Education held its Regular Meeting on Wednesday, April
15, 2009.   The business and personnel items were approved in their
entirety.   In addition to the regular business, the Board of Education
took action on the following items:
<ul>
    <li> &nbsp; Approved 6 mini-contracts. </li>
    <li> &nbsp; Accepted the recommendations from the Committee on Special Education. </li>
    <li> &nbsp; Adopted as a seconded reading revised policy #5300 - Code of
    Conduct, and new policy #7362 &ndash; Procedure for Approval of Change Orders
    During Capital Improvement Projects. </li>
    <li> Approved budget transfers greater than $50,000. </li>
    <li> Appointed 2009 summer school supervisors. </li>
    <li> Approved Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Specialists. </li>
    <li> Approved coaching assignments for the 2008-09 school year. </li>
    <li> Appointed marching band personnel for the 2009-10 school year. </li>
    <li> Approved additional appointments to the 2008-09 Committee on Special Education. </li>
    <li> Approved a resolution to reappoint emergency conditional appointments. </li>
</ul>
<p>The Board of Education has scheduled the following meetings: </p>
<p>&bull;&nbsp; Special Meeting &ndash; Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 7 am in the
Conference Room at District Office to vote on the proposed BOCES
Administrative Budget and BOCES Candidates. </p>
<p>&bull;&nbsp; Regular Meeting &ndash; Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 8 pm in the Board Room at Samoset Middle School. </p>
<p>&bull;&nbsp; Annual Meeting and Election &ndash; Tuesday, May 19, 2009 - there will
be a vote on the 2009-10 school budget and election of members of the
Board of Education at the 12 elementary school between the hours of 6am
and 9pm. </p>
